Southern Medical College, Chittagong, Bangladesh was established in 2005 and is affiliated with the University of Chittagong which is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). Therefore, Indian students are eligible to apply for NOC from MCI and sit for the screening test in India upon completion of their degree at Southern Medical College. The medium of instruction at Southern Medical College is English. Teaching will be imparted to the students through lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, practical classes. Periodic clinical meeting, seminars, symposium, and workshop on different subjects. The course duration is of 5 years.
The college is a Private college by status and is also approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. It is also approved by Nepal Medical Council.
