Intakes in UK

Unlike a single intake in India, United Kingdom mainly offers two intakes:

  • September/October intake – The main or the primary intake in the UK is considered as the September intake. Majority of students choose to opt for September intake since most of the universities in the UK offer all the courses in the September intake. The application deadline for the September intake generally falls between February and May of the academic year.
  • January/February intake – January intake is considered as the secondary intake in the UK. Although January intake does not offer as many courses as the September intake, but it offers an opportunity to those students who have missed the admission in the main or September intake. The application deadline for January intake generally falls between June and September.
