Eligibility for the MBBS Course in Mongolia

Students from India must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for admission to the MBBS course in Mongolia:

● As of December 31st of the year in which the student is applying for admission, they must be at least 17 years old.

● To be eligible, the student must have obtained their high school diploma from a recognised state or regionally accredited university.

● If the student falls under the General category, they must have a minimum of 50% in each of the following subjects: physics, chemistry and biology, as well as English as a required course.

■ Those from the SC/ST and OBC communities must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 40% in each of the three sciences of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

● As per the latest NMC Guidelines, it is mandatory to qualify NEET exam in order to study MBBS in Mongolia.

● Students can be asked to participate in a Skype interview.

Can I study in Mongolia without taking the NEET exam?

● The universities will provide you with an admission letter, but you will not receive a visa from the Embassy.

Is the National Eligibility Examination for Medical Education (NEET) Compulsory for MBBS Students in Mongolia?

● Admission to an international MBBS course now requires NEET certification.

● MBBS students may use their NEET score for three years of education in another country.

● Even if you don’t appear or qualify for NEET, you can be allowed to enrol in certain colleges or countries. You won’t be able to sit for NEXT in India if you fall within this category.

In other words, if you want to study medicine in Mongolia, you’ll need to get a NEET score.
